Lighting Design
After finding himself at Fordham High School for the Arts. Andy discovered the world of technical theatre and found that he was able to combine his passion for technology with a newfound passion for creating art and storytelling.
Andy is someone who is a huge believer in enjoying the things we make and pursuing that creation to the end. With collaboration at the forefront of every project. He believes that the best bodies of work come from an environment of fun, openness and collaboration and these are values that he seeks to uphold and expand on with every production
Andy Moreta Castillo is a Dominican Lighting Designer based out of New York City. He is currently pursuing a BFA in Theatre Design / Technology with a concentration in Lighting Design from SUNY Purchase and will be graduating in May of 2026.

When not caught up in a project, Andy can be found playing volleyball, going on a small adventure with his friends, playing or re-playing video games or catching up on the newest episode or chapter of One Piece and other anime / manga.
