Andy Moreta is a Dominican Lighting Designer from the Bronx, NY. After discovering technical theatre in Fordham High School for the Arts which he somehow ended up in. He discovered the amazing world of lighting design thanks to his teachers who helped and supported him in every step of the way.
Once leaving high school he decided to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts at SUNY Purchase College where he further developed his craft and style(which you can see on this website!).
With collaboration at the forefront of his work. Andy is a believer in the team sport that is designing a show and loves figuring out all the intricate puzzle pieces that need to be figured out in order to tell a story.
When he has some time on his hands you can catch him going on walks around the city, watching or rewatching his favorite shows and converting people to watch One Piece!(you should watch One Piece, it's NOT too long).
